This study requires participants to be adults aged 18 to 80 with Type 2 Diabetes and documented Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD), including specific UACR protein levels (500-5000 mg/g) and stable eGFR (30-90 mL/min/1.73 m²).

Candidates must be on stable, maximum tolerated doses of standard kidney medication (ACE inhibitors or ARBs) and are excluded if they have Type 1 diabetes, severe kidney failure, recent cardiovascular events, or are pregnant.
